No mention of content at amazon nor the petratools website. most likely urea/ams mix with iron.

There is approximately 2.8 lbs of N in the gallon. So $23.21 per pound. Plus you get some iron.

AMS 50lb bag. ($18.60) has 10.5 lbs of N. So $1.77 per pound. No iron

Urea 50 lb bag (~17.00) has 23 Lbs of N $0.74 per pound. No iron No sulfate.

AMS and Urea can both be "melted down" aka mixed with water to create your own spray solution. So you are basically able to create your own spray solution to the level you want/need for a fraction of the cost of a pre mixed bottle.

You should get as good if not better green up with AMS. Urea's advantage is that it's cheaper and has less chance of leaf tip burn but yes, you can mix them together if you wish. It's one of those things you have to play around with and see what works best for you and your lawn.

If you're spraying urea, most uptake occurs within the first few hours. Therefore, applying in the evening will maximize the amount of time that it stays on the grass blades since it will dry off more slowly. If you can do it when it's humid out, then it's even better due to prolonged drying times. I have never been able to find anything that says a foliar application of urea needs to be watered in afterward, so whether you really need to do that is unclear.
