Quick question. Does the diffuser screw on an impact sprinkler put water down faster? I understand it breaks the stream up to create a mist but also reduces coverage. Trying to find a happy medium where I get good coverage but am able to put down a good amount of water in a timely manner. Thanks.

Yeah, I hear you. I have a lot of different sprinklers. As far as impact I really like the Orbit 56186N Brass Impact Sprinkler. I’ve had it for awhile. Very durable, and dependable. I have the Gilmour Pattern Master, as well as the Rain Bird P5R. With the plastic heads I can run two simultaneously. I also have the Orbit Gear Drive heads which can run two at a time as well. The only thing is with the brass/metal impact heads I can’t run two simultaneously from two different spigots. Which is why I’m trying to figure out if running two is even worth it if my flow rate is reduced by doing so. I feel like I spend the same amount of time watering with two heads simultaneously off of two different spigots as I would with just using one head off of one spigot at a time. If that makes sense.
