Cut again today at .375" in preparation for THE @WillyT 's arrival this weekend. Gave the Flex a fresh backlap beforehand. Things are coming along.

As always, the pictures don't do the color justice. It is much darker than it looks.

On another note, my herbicide concoction really did a number on all of the weeds and 95% of them are crispy and withering away!

Fill in not happening as quickly as it would if I wasn’t under regulation but I didn’t want to let it rebound and try to keep up. It’s nice only needing to mow every 4-5 days instead of every day.

Are you raking those thick spots daily? I'd try to get some green poking through and work the sand into the turf a bit.
Just about daily but some of those spots are 2” deep so not any green poking though yet.

24 days post sand. Pretty much everything that wasn’t 1”+ deep is filled back in. Hoping those areas pull through. Starting to see little blades poke through in most areas.

Got a quick mow in before it got dark. Still at .375”.

PGR and Bifen app this week.

Lowered a sprinkler head and moved it for more overlap and less road spray.

Need to add one PGJ small rotator to my perimeter zone in the front edge of the landscaping to get the lawn next to the house where the picture showed dry before. Didn’t have a long enough piece of funny pipe or enough daylight.

Got my PGR/Bifen app down as the sun was going down

PGR @ .17oz/1000
FEature @ 1oz/1000
Urea @ .130lb N/M
Bifen XTS .50oz/1000

If it’s grub or mole cricket activity I’d recommend a quick killer like Dylox, 2 doses five days apart. Acelepryn takes a long time to work into the soil and is more preventative than curative. DM me if you need some for spot treatment vice buying a huge jug…
Almost positive it's the armyworms from my previous post. I will get the extra sprinkler head added this week to see if the water helps and get the Acelepryn down as well. May be shooting you a DM for some Dylox, may also just buy a bag for a blanket app if needed.

Wish I had more pictures from farther back when we bought the place. This is about the best I have. My picture skills have also improved drastically.

I missed it above! Sorry. I’ve got two dry / hot spots that I was hyper paranoid about, so I feel your pain 😆
