Help me please!

I'm planting trees along my property line in the spring. Zone 6A. Neighbor has a 4 foot tall chain link fence.

I want to block them out fast. I plan on buying mature trees (5ft tall?). I need help with spacing. My current goal is to remain 3 feet from the fence.

I can't find any information about Junior Giants. Some sites say if Regular Giants are grouped 5 feet apart they won't mature to full height?

I'm mostly interested in blocking out the neighbor quickly but respectfully. Any progress pictures or information about planting along a fence is appreciated!

(I'm not interested in Emerald Green. Every one I see around here are bald on the bottom)

Planted giants 5 ft apart and they were 5 ft tall. This is them 3.5 years later…. Technically you should plant them further apart which might help with reducing disease damage but certainly isnt stopping vertical growth.
