You could also order some Icon Zoysia plugs from Hime Depot Lowes or YardMastery to see if that is enough of a match. They ship from Bethel Farms in Florida and the ones I recieved to try that method along with sod showed up in great health.

 

Palisades and El Toro are very similar in texture to Empire but I can't speak to the color. I know Palisades and El Toro are indistinguishable to my eyes in both texture and color.

 

Based on the examples I’ve seen around my parts Palisades is a little darker than Empire.
