Anyone know or a cheaper solution to something like this? I think that price is redonkulous but what do I know…..

This got me poking around the GCI website and eventually the YouTube rabbit hole.....the spray buddy 15 gallon could be the perfect solution for me.....I can mount it in my shed, which has water and electric and the furthest point is 195' so I could get the 200' option.

It's hard to tell and may just be the spray nozzle he tends to use in the videos, but the pressure does seem a little low. It does sound like you can hook up a spray wand with some tee jet nozzles as an option though. It's expensive, but I'd love to consolidate as my collection of spray apparati is getting out of control. This is mainly driven by the fact that I don't love anything I have currently (4 gallon ryobi backpack sprayer, Chapin 9 gal push sprayer, 25 oz spray bottles, 1 gallon pump sprayers etc etc)

Follow up to my follow up…I think I’m talking myself into either the 15 gal or the dual 15 gal tank system. The decision is if I want to do 2 gal/1000 of 1. With 15k sq ft, I’ve always done 1 gal/1000 but I feel like this system would make that a little less leisurely than I prefer. He also makes a good point that 2 gal/1000 is the best way to get total coverage and saturation of the material you’re putting down.

I apply at 3 gallons/1000 with my 12 gallon push sprayer and still get good coverage with my AI nozzles. Have you considered pricing out your own DIY setup to fit your needs specifically? You could probably buy 90% of the parts at Northern Tool for under $1000 plus a little bit of your time putting it all together plus what you will learn doing it yourself.

Last year's thread, but it is spring (again).

@PFTanx Did you go with GCI or DIY? The Cart Buddy is so DARN AWESOME...and EXPENSIVE. I'd like to DIY, but IMO by the time you buy quality products to make it you probably break even. I've thought about a Lesco 80# spreader and adding the electric boom sprayer, but the GCI option is so nice.
