Hey everyone,
New to the forum, first time posting, thanks for letting me be a part of this. So i have a sprayers-plus 105EX backpack and i use it to spray the N-EXT products. I have sprayed without any problems for about 4 rounds of apps. I wanted to get the soil ready for aerating and over seeding, but my sprayer seems to be clogged. It sprays a little bit but will not hold pressure. I am wondering if anyone out there has had a similar problem and what they did to clean it out. I dont know if there is a trick with a mixture of things to flush it out. I know the Humic can be thick. Thank you in advance for your help. I look forward to being a part of this great community.

Thanks,
Andy

I don't have that kind of equipment but if I was in your shoes, I would fill the tank with some hot water from the tap and see if that doesn't loosen things up a bit and try pump some of the hot water through the pump and wand. You may also want to go into the tank and see if the pickup lines or pump intake doesn't have some build up on it. Also take the sprayer wand apart and see if you can't see any blockage in there too. You could also get some Super Clean (you can find it at Walmart or any auto parts store) and use it to help clean some of the intake ports on the sprayer or dilute it and run a half tank through your sprayer as it should help loosen any build up out of it.

I have a tow-behind sprayer and I have read that the best way to clean it is to use ammonia and hot water to blow the lines clear and clean out the pump and intake screen. I have not done so yet because I just use water and triple rinse everything until it is only spraying clear water, but it might be worth trying if you cannot free up the clog.

Regular household ammonia is what is recommended. I would do this outdoors, unless you like choking on fumes....

Thanks guys. Appreciate it, I have pulled everything apart and even tried hooking up a syphon to the intake line which helped a bit. I will give these recommendations a try and let you know, thanks again.
Some of the guys on YouTube say that running air 8 through sprayers helps break some of the bonds and flush the system better. Not sure how well it works.
