Other than pre-emergent, are you all doing anything or recommend something to prepare for a healthy spring lawn?

Having a hard time doing nothing with it, lol. Give me something to do! :D

Fungicide - about to put down a granular in my area, as we are STILL getting roughly 1" of rain a week, with some mild cool/brisk temps moving in, then back up to the mid 70's.

Mid 70's, Mid 50's, rain, wash and repeat. Been 3 weeks like this. Finished up my Eagle 20 bottle about 7-8 days ago, which equated to about 1/3-ish of a recommended application (all I had left).

Applied a little Milo, Air8/Dethatch combo, and RGS/Microgreene as well. Now, focusing on building soil biology during the "slow" months.

Do you use any Next products?

@iFisch3224 thanks for the reply! I have not used NEXT products yet. I havent done anything for soil treatment since july. So that seams like a good idea right about now. I've been researching NEXT products, certainly looks interesting.

I thought I should avoid nitrogen products like Milo during dormancy. Or is slow-release OK?

For Bermuda no fungicides or fertilizers. Just throwing dollars down the toilet. As a commercial applicator in Oklahoma I will apply round 1 in early February. I blanket spray Glyphosate at 32oz per acre and Prodiamine 4L at 16oz per acre. Round 2 in April after green up consists of my own three way mix with Dicamba, 2,4-D ester, and Carfentrazone. Round 3 switch to Indaziflam and Trifloxysulfuron or Flazasulfuron. Keep in mind I do not spot spray during Round 1,2,3 or 7 only blanket spray.

If your lawn is already dormant, there isn't much you can do this time of year as anything you put on the lawn really won't do anything and most likely will get washed away with Winter rains. About the only thing I can think of is making sure you a good Pre Emergent barrier down and you could spot spray any weeds you see in the lawn that are still green. Just know that anything you spray on them will take longer to kill the weed since it's colder outside so the plants metabolism is going to be slower.
