Have you fertilized?

Not yet. I am planning to out Scotts winterizer in a couple of days

 

I would throw some starter fert down now and then the winterizer in a month...Wht are you doing about a post emergent?

 

I have not put any herbicides either. If you guys can suggest the steps of what to do with a new lawn that would be great.
example
1) put herbicide down now
2) Starter fert in a few days (let me know the aprox date)
3) winterizer is another few days. (let me know the aprox date).

Also, another question is should i be bagging or mulching when cutting grass. Thanks

As stated - check GMan’s guide. You’ll want to get some Tenacity down for sure. Starving new grass will get yellow. I did a Reno last year and fertilized and seed down and a much lower rate 30 days later along with my second application of tenacity.
