13-13-13 or something similar. It doesn't need much and too much N can cause fungal issues in st aug.

 

I use Lesco 30-0-10 and 18-24-12 mixed 50-50 to give me 24-12-11. I apply 3.3#/M. I get these from Lowes when on sale or from SiteOne 32-0-08 and 18-24-12 which gives me 25-12-10 which is basically the same. I apply every April 1, June 1, and Aug 1.

Oct 1 I mix 150# 30-0-10 with 50# 18-24-12 and 40# 0-0-60 to get 23-5-18 applied 2.6#/M.

Total per year N = 3#, P = 1.3#, K = 1.6#

It is fast and slow release with some Fe.

 

I Tried Lesco a year or so ago and the results were really good.

 

Our Lowes carries Sunniland.
Of course, being in FL phosphorous is controlled. (our soil is naturally high in P)

I live in Florida and I've used the Sunniland and Lesco's brand, they work well. My St Augustine doesn't seem to be a picky eater, so get whatever is on sale. I've had some okay results from Scotts Natural Lawn Food (11-2-2) without the worry of burning the lawn but it takes longer to get results. My St Augustine also loves Milorganite, but for some reason when I use it the Grey Leaf Spot gets out of control.

 

I had the same problem with Milorganite.

 

Florida St. Aug here, whatever is the cheapest for nitrogen/pound, lawns dont care about organic vs non-organic, its all N-P-K to them. Special Slow release formulations are overblown and not well proven. Unless youve done a soil test and found a deficiency, minimal P and K.
