Looks like a mix of kentucky bluegrass and poa annua. KBG has tighter bunched seed heads and poa annua has spread out seed heads.

My lawn has lots of kbg. If it were kbg heads I'd have a lot more. BTW this is a 1/2" cut. The seedheads are lower than 1/2"! Should I spot spray meso on them?

 

Pull a few plants and look at the ligule. If its got a stringy membrane it's poa, otherwise it's kbg. If your lawn is like mine you'll find a mix of poa and kbg seed heads.

You can spot spray meso or just pull them. The best way to get rid of poa is preM in July, but it is not 100% effective.

How do you guys spot spray with meso? If I even use 1ml of that stuff I will have leftover. Do you just put it in a bottle for next time or follow up sprays?

I have a 1gal sprayer dedicated to tenacity. It was pretty cheap but does the job.

This is PRG, 1 or 2 KBG and I may also see very few of Poa, but not clear from the pics.
@dubzino . Those seeds either have to mature enough, which means to let the grass grow feet up, or most of the time they will be sterile. So, no.

I picked a few kbg and poa a seed heads. After I picked the poa head I had (what I assume were) many tiny white seeds all over my hands. Not the case with KBG.

I picked a few kbg and poa a seed heads. After I picked the poa head I had (what I assume were) many tiny white seeds all over my hands. Not the case with KBG.
