None of the Weed-B-Gon product labels I looked at specifically say safe for pets and kids. They have directions to keep people and pets out of the area during application and only allow back in after product has dried.

Suggest you read the label of the Weed-B-Gon product you wish to use to see what the application directions and precautions are to see if that meets your safe requirements.

@Roger007 are you talking about the Canadian or American versions. Completely different active ingredients.

Either way, follow the label directions and wait until the product has dried before letting kids and pets re-enter the lawn.

Having said that, we are talking about chemicals and there are always inherent health risks involved. Nothing is completely "kid and pet friendly."

I believe that's wild carrot/queen anne's lace and has a taproot that if you don't pull the whole thing (similar to nutsedge) it'll keep coming back.
