So, I was intrigued by one of GCI Pete's videos about a granular to use on sedges. That appealed to me because I have always had a small amount of kyllinga and other sedges. So I tried it about a month ago, and also did a re-treat today. I am pretty encouraged by things so far. The kyllinga was looking pretty rough today.

It is also labeled for a few broad leaf weeds. If anyone else has used Vexis, I would be interested in your experience.

I used it, and I can't say for sure it didn't do NOTHING, but I can't say for sure it really did anything either. Two rounds of Sedgemaster dis very little.

Dismiss NXT absolutely HAMMERED 90% of the sedges in like 24-48 hours.

@SCGrassMan that's good to know about the Dismiss NXT. For that kind of $$ it is definitely one I would be looking to split with someone in Marketplace!

I'm hoping the Vexis plays out ok in my case. My sedge pressure not too bad and not having a tank mix is a plus for me. So far, so good. I will update this post with future results for anyone who is researching this product.

Something to keep in mind too, I have Zeon zoysia and sedges are literally the only weed I have an issue with.

What I'm going to try on the survivors, probably today, is a syringe of raw dismiss and dripping it into the crown of remaining patches.

I wouldn't suggest a split honestly - it's a thick viscous liquid and I don't think would work out well. If you have something in the Bermuda family especially I would just get a bottle - it roasts pretty much everything and it doesn't seem to bother Bermuda even at max rate.

Thanks. Good to know.

Off topic, but have you seen many fungal issues in your area this year? Mostly under control in my yard at least
I've seen a ton of STA fungus, and I've seen a ton of sedges, and a ton of Doveweed.
