Too much rain for seeding?

Is this too much rain for spot seeding? I have a few small areas (and one slightly larger, maybe 10' in diameter) that I want to seed (bare dirt right now), and was planning to do so before this upcoming rain. however, at first it looked like just a little rain coming, now it's quite a bit. the area is flat and i'll be covering it/mixing it in with a little new top soil and peat moss, no hay.

should i wait until after it dies down friday afternoon? or ok to seed before? it'll be kbg so, given how long it takes to germinate, i want to get started asap (even though it's just 2-3 extra days if i wait).

The issue with this particular forecast is that it appears to be heavy TStorms late Thurs into Fri morning, tapering off midday Fri. That's then followed up with TStorms in the afternoon on Saturday. Given the weather we've had here in CT over the past month+, if it says TStorms I'm not trusting any of the forecasted rainfall amounts nor the supposed duration of rainfall.

I would hold off until Sunday.
