Too late for triclopyr ester?

Hello all,

I overseeded my fescue lawn in early October and the grass is coming in nicely. I have had issues with creeping Charlie and wild violets for years. Is it too late for me to apply the herbicide? I'm in zone 7 Atlanta area.

Thanks in advance!

You may want to hold off until spring so you don't potentially injure your young grass, plus soil temperatures are getting to cold according to the label.

"Hi Yield Triclopyr Ester works best when its used on plants that are actively growing and when soil temps are 50 degrees or higher at the time of the application. You would ideally want to apply it between 50 and 80 degrees."
