Do a quick syringe watering every day for 5 minutes per zone in the mid afternoon. I stopped running my syringe program but will be starting it back up tomorrow. My hot spots have returned.

How can I combat heat stress in my zoysia? It's well watered multiple times per week with adequate coverage.

How much water, in inches, are you irrigating into that area? What's the soil type? Is this the south side of the building?

Have you measured the water output in that area?

Any dogs or kids that could be wearing a trail?

Yes. You just turn on the irrigation for 3-5 minutes in the heat of the day. It's not going to soak in; you're just going to cool off the canopy. When it gets real hot here in Florida, I do it at noon and 3:00PM.
