Tiftuff Nuclear burn

So I decided to spot spray some q4plus a few weeks back and was a little heavy handed. To make things worse the temp rose about 8 degrees above the forecast to around 91 or so.

Weeds began to die off, but so did the lawn where q4 was applied.

Now I'm left with a somewhat healthy grass with dozens of deep burnout spots, some down to the soil. It's been very hot here/heat wave which I know isn't helping for new healthy grass to grow.

Any suggestions on how to give these spots a boost in hopes they fill in before summers end ?

Thanks in advance.

Lots of water. I burned my entire backyard once with weed killer but the following week I was hit with a ton of rain and it bounced back before my wife could notice and file for divorce. I'm right down the road in Concord and it looks like we are going to get a good bit of rain starting tomorrow and going into tomorrow that should start the process. Temperatures will also be cool so you could hit it with a bit of nitrogen and continue to irrigate after for the next week and see what happens.

24d above 85 is not good. Plus the quinlorac is hard on Bermuda hybrid.

I put some dismiss and quinlorac down in spot spray on Saturday. Already have some significant yellowing put the crabgrass and sedges look worse. Water it good.

Let's hope the forecast is right, it's been devastatingly dry the last few weeks!

when was sodded ?
Last year when i used first time MSMA :) used little higher over 90F. Got similar situation. In this time i even do not know this website :)
I applied 15-15-15 5 pound for 1K ration every 2 weeks and they got back very quickly.
By the way, no matter what, tifTuf looks very good
It was sodded about 3 months back. A few of the spots have burned straight down to the soil, considered plugging those, but may fertilize and reevaluate in a few weeks. Atleast the weeds are gone
