Well. If I got legit pricing on my sod ... I was told $155 for a pallet of tiftuf

 

Empire and TifTuf are going to be comparable... within say, 10 to 30 dollars a pallet of each other.

 

The local farm here sells 419 for $112 for a 500sf pallet and Tiftuf is $138.75 per 500sf pallet. The Empire is $149.50 per pallet but for some reason they only come in 450sf pallets. I can tell you I had some sticker shock when I recently purchased 13 pallets of Empire for my front yard. It's about 50% more. I've been happy with simple 419 in my back yard but didn't feel like dealing with the property line mixing of varieties in the front.

When I did my TifTuf 3 years ago I paid $150.00ish per pallet. I am in Charleston and used SuperSod.

But that was 3 years ago.

My dealer down in Texas as well is in that cheaper range.
