This survived 41% Glyphosate with Surfactant...what can I do?

So I am doing spot nukes around my yard as I try to kill off the last few weeds before overseeding Bermuda, but this particular weed seems completely unaffected by the Glyphosate 2wks later. If it had yellowed even a little, I would think maybe it would need a second round to take it out, but it did absolutely nothing to it.

Is there something else that I can use that will not have ground residual effects? I don't want to use Celsius or Dicamba or 2-4D because all of them require a much longer waiting period before I can put down seeds.

I sprayed these weeds with 41% Glyphosate, did not cut 2 days before or after, and added a surfactant. These are the only ones that seem unaffected.

Thanks for the suggestion, I would have to wait 3wks though after applying that before I could seed, I really want to get this seeding project going this year, it looks like there is no easy answer. I might have to just go ahead and seed and fight with this particular weed next year.

nah, I wouldn't do that. I'd hit it with glyphosate again. That looks like a waxy leaf so it probably just didn't get through the leaf. I'd hit it again and then hit it again 2 days later. when you spray it, make sure it is wetting the leaf, aka the spray isn't forming droplets like plain water on a waxed car would. if it is beading up it isn't penetrating. Add a bit more surfactant if it isn't wetting it out now.

There is no time like the present to work through that weed. The weed won't get easier to kill just because there is grass around it and then you have to be worried about the grass.

is the patch of it small enough you could cover it with clear plastic? You could basically burn it out with sunshine.

Doveweed, good luck. Ive had great success with glyphosate, so not sure how yours is surviving. In big patches you can also just till it, tear it out with a rake, etc.

Its when its popping up all over your grass that it becomes a real problem, because nothing seems to really be able to kill it. In which case, you have to use pre-m to slow it down over years.

Still nothing so far, I have ordered more products....this weekend I am going to try hitting it with a mixture of Glyphosate, Octane, Glufosinate, and surfactent. All 3 have no soil residual effects, and each uses a different mode of action to kill.
My app says that close up picture was Virginia buttonweed

yeah my app said button weed. But it says purple vs white flower when this doesn't have right now.
I looked at both and I would agree is dove weed. Leaf texture is dove in my eyes.
Glyphosate is great for killing everything. There are a few reasons a weed will be harder to kill. It's it growing or going dormant? And I found if it's very healthy it may not uptake the product as well (like it's not "hungry") or is healthy enough to fend off application. If it's waxy it will cause run off. Surfactants are already in some 4-% products. But don't spray too much. While you may thing you are "really getting it" you may encourage runoff causing it to be less effective. But use surfactant if not already in the jug. Ill attach my current one with surfactant.

I use this one: Amazon.com : Hi-Yield (33692) Super Concentrate Killzall Weed & Grass Killer (32 oz) : Garden Fertilizers : Patio, Lawn & Garden it includes surfactant as well, but its just not working. I will try my new concoction tomorrow if the Glufosinate arrives today. I even added a little extra of my own surfactant. I think the Glufosinate will do the trick. I was supposed to reseed today but this dove weed has derailed my schedule.

I have 2 very stubborn weeds
I think this is Posion Ivy.
It covered my treen line 25 years ago vines you can swing on.
then this thing . Thick leather leaves go View attachment 74025

For really big vines I would try cutting them close to the ground, using a small drill bit and drilling a hole in the middle of the top of the vine, then dropping Tordon RTU in the hole drip feeding it as much as it will take. That will wipe it out at the roots. I had some invasive vines and trees growing between my fence and the fence next door and they were tearing up the fences. Tordon RTU wiped them all out.

My Bad im actually using triclopyr as my go to for killing. Roundup grass and weed killer.
Works great on dove weed.

So far this dove weed has survived two rounds of Celsius with Certainty, and three rounds of Glyphosate. If Triclopyr did not have a 3 week waiting period before seeding I would try that....but if I were to wait 3 more weeks the whole rest of the yard would start sprouting some other sort of weed and that would start putting me into the Nov/Dec timeframe with my reseed which is not good. Today I put down another round of Glyphosate, and a first round of Octane and Glufosinate. I just don't see it surviving that.

What surfactant specifically did you add?
The glyphosate that I use already has surfactant, but I added this surfactant as well to help out the Octane and Glufosinate.
