Any one using this 18-1-8 Fertilizer it looks like a quality product.
Also this 5-2-4+Fe Thought this maybe good for re seeding and sodding or seasonal use.

Site one is a distributor. Reached out to sales guy from Sustane, but wasn't much help or interested in helping.

Pete from GCI Turf loves this stuff. If he endorses this product then you are good hands by using it in your lawn. I’m sure you can use just about any fertilizer and have a good results. The key for me this is year is that I placed quite a bit of slow release this year with Soil Mastery and Screamin Green with a combination of Love Your Soil as it’s getting fairly dark geen. However I contribute the iron of the Yard Mastery Flagship and Double Dark, but Ironite is shinning!

Based on the 18-1-8 it’s a slow release product with different nitrogen sources. Not much iron in the bag. You may want to find fertilizer that has a quicker release for seeding as we don’t have much time for seeding or sodding towards the end of the season. Find something with less slower release. You are better off going with YM Flagship or Freedom or maybe Jonathan Green fertilizer and contains more iron as well. Much of Yard Mastery’s fertilizers have more than 40% is slow release.

I find myself mixing fertilizers to get great results. For example I will use 3lbs/1k with Milo along with 2lbs/1k with Double Dark with 2lbs/1k for Screamin Green all in the spreader at the same time. This works flawlessly!!!

wow that’s quite the concoction there. I wouldn’t use the 18-1-8 for seed/sod I was thinking the 5-2-4 or maybe they had a different one I was looking at.
Not worried about Iron content as I have Feture I can use for that.
I’m in Canada and have an address I use to ship things to, but shipping a big bag of fertilizer would be costly I’m sure.
Where does one get this yardmajesty stuff from?

Green
Have you asked at SiteOne?

Amazon also sells some Sustane in like 20 lb bags.

Heritage PPG sells some Sustane online as well.

I like the 8-2-4. Heritage and Amazon both have it...at least for US shipping
Have not had a chance to call them. Had planned to stop in at one of their stores recently. I just thought the sales guy could tell me, who actually sold it.

Oh yea I see amazon has the 8-2-4.

That's Protene, not Sustane. I've used both brands for over 5 years. Both are excellent.

Yes thanks for correction! You are right! I’m sure Sustane is a great product along with Protene.
