Do you have dogs? I have similar spots due to dog urine from winter dormancy, they are repairing slowly now temps are starting to rise.

 

I do have a dog, and he urinates everywhere except on the grass. LOL! On the privacy fence, rose bushes, diving board, planting urns, patio furniture, etc. But not the grass.

 

Noticing something similar in my yard. Are those low spot by chance? My areas seem to be where a lot of water runs through as a low spot but not sure.

 

Not low spots. Lawn is very flat. I think I’ll treat in the fall as if it were SDS.

 

My dead spots are from tree roots this year.

 

Looks like spring dead spot to me also. Remember the areas to focus on, and hit it with liquid Propiconazole in the fall when avg ground temps are still between 60-80. Use plenty of water as you are treating the soil, not the tissue.
One treatment in the fall prevented mine this year.
