Hey everyone,

My lawn was the greenest one on the block until the texas winter storm hit. Below is a picture of some of the st. augustine leaf blades now.

1. Does anyone know if these are dead leaf blades or are they just damaged and dormant from all the cold weather?

2. Now that the storm is passed can i go ahead and throw down some potassium ( potash ) to help with some of the damage recovery? Would this be beneficial or a waste at this point?

Being a cool-season guy I can't really answer your questions, but I did see this article come across my Twitter feed this morning. There was a mention of potassium in the article.
