We expanded our deck last year and my wife wanted pavers put in at the landing of the steps. I felt I could do this myself but am now running into issues with the sand underneath washing out which has caused the first row of pavers to sink. While the yard slopes from left to right, I dug out/leveled the area, placed sand, pavers and then polyermic sand on top. I used paver edging for all areas except what was butting up against the step. Every hard rain we receive since and I can see sand wash out on the other end of the deck. Any way I can salvage this?
