Has any one tried the ryobi 4 gallon battery operated backpack sprayer? I have quite a few tools on their platform and several batteries as well. I currently use a chapin 4 gal. pump sprayer. Herbicides and various N-ext products will be used through it. Can t-jet nozzles next used with the ryobi? Thanks!

I have it. Teejet nozzles slot right in. I'd recommend an AI11003VS for soil and an XR11003VS for foliar applications. Get the 04 if you're a fast walker.

The older versions had a floppy inlet hose that wouldn't suck up the last half gallon. I hot glued a stainless steel cable clip to hold it down. The newer versions have a plastic inverted U hose that supposedly solves that issue.

It's been a decent sprayer for my use. I use it maybe once a month during the growing season. Preemergent, post emergent, soil stimulants.

I use it and have the full DFW wand setup. As mentioned above, I have the "floppy" intake hose which is a real pain when you get down to the last gallon of liquid. I use a 3 aH battery and it's more than enough for 5+ sprays on my 9k yard. I only used the XR nozzle last season but plan on using the AR for me pre-emergent here in a few weeks. For $150 plus the $100 for the DFW setup is well worth it when comparing it to a pump sprayer.

***I saw the Milwaukee M18 backpack sprayer was in the clearance section at my HD and marked down to $299 I believe.
