Thank you. That's interesting they clarified 1/8" minimum HOC since the marketing materials had only stated 1/4". Most of the time companies market their products with theoretical, ideal numbers rather than what consumers will actually get. That's a good sign that RR isn't trying to mislead customers.
Ultimately that's part of the reason I went for the RR vs the Rolux mower - to me the difference is a tried and true/tested, relatively basic design (Rolux) vs a mower custom built by a group of enthusiasts who are trying to fix the painpoints that homeowners may face when using a greensmower, taking on the challenge from a practical perspective, with excellent communication as they go.

None of that to take away from what the Rolux guys are doing - time has proven that they have an excellent product, and they've been pretty on point with their communication via their support and the forums here.

Curious if anyone has been given a delivery window for January yet? I haven't placed an order. Torn between ordering now vs waiting to see more details about the new CT Catalyst. Need to make a decision in the next few months.

No delivery window yet but they say they're still on track for Jan deliveries.

Yep got the email. I am ok with it. I like some of the improvements they are making and for me that is worth the extra wait. Not that excited about mowing now anyway.

Got email as well. I do wish they'd consider prioritizing mowers going to southern customers. They stress that it's still in time for growing season, however my email mentioned the mower won't get to them until March 29 (have seen others state as early as March 8), which means we'll be in to April before I receive, and assuming this growing season is anything like the last (and this winter seems more mild than last year), I'll be a month or so into the season down here in Texas. Meanwhile our friends up North may have one sitting in their garage with snow still on the ground.

That said, really appreciate their transparency and the delays are totally understandable given the number of post-reveal improvements they're bringing to market. Pushing my manual reel around for an extra month won't kill me (although the spring scalp might).

I'm in pretty much the same boat. It is disappointing news but it's not that big of a deal, and it's not that surprising given that RR seems to be a smallish company with a big new product launch. The late March/early April date means that I will have to scalp with my rotary once again, but it is what it is.

One thing I wasn't clear about were the "8 additional features" that were added since the mower went on sale. Anyone know what those are?

Ya, not sure if that includes the few I mentioned a few posts back or if there's 8 additional features that have yet to be revealed. Isaac did tell me that they've got some final versions coming in to them some time this month that they're going to shake down and post photos/videos of once they validate the quality. I imagine that's when we'll have a picture of the total package of improvements.

And if they did that, as benign as it may be, people would be in an uproar that they didn't stick to a FIFO system. Now, if it was voluntary (ie: a northern customer states that they are ok with bumping their allocation...) that would be a different thing altogether.

Reel rollers moved the delivery date to April now. My delivery date moved from January > February > March, April was my last straw. Something was not adding up. How can they be making improvements when they said they are on a container? I requested a refund, they sent me an email saying they refunded, but 7 days later NO REFUND!!! Beware of this business.

When did you place your original order? I ordered during the early-bird sale and was given a January delivery date, and that was later moved to March 29, which is effectively April. I have not seen any emails since that pushed it past that.

A lot of the minor improvements can be made during final assembly. January was ultimately wishful thinking but I appreciate their transparency, communication, and drive for perfection for a 1st gen product. I'm pretty frequently an "early adopter" and the Rev26 is no exception - Rarely if ever do I have 1st gen products that I order pre-production actually deliver by the first date. I find it best to just forget about it until a present shows up on my doorstep.

Haven't received an email either. In the FB group they did mention they have 2 containers inbound currently (originally planned 1), with 2 more shipping late February, which should allow them to deliver ALL Rev26s by early-mid April. I take that more as a guarantee that we'll all have ours no later than mid April rather than an announcement that nobody will get them before April.

Yeah this 1st time post is a bit disingenuous. The delivery date was moved once, not four times like this poster tries to insinuate. RR has been fully transparent on why the delivery date was pushed back and the vast majority on the FB group all agree it will be well worth the extra time for an updated mower. If this poster is in such a rush to mow dormant grass and doesn’t have the patience to wait for a nice list of upgrades from the original design, well that’s on him.

Sorry for the delay, but we only moved the date back once and we believe it’s well worth it. Your refund was submitted to our merchant provider immediately, but depending on the card it can take 3-5 business days. I’m confident the full amount is back on your card by now. Thank you again for giving us a shot to earn your business. The Rev is unlike any other mower - we couldn’t be more proud to put our name on it.
