I'm planning a fall Reno and the plan was to Gly everything. mow and bag the weeds and then use the scarifier on a SunJoe to loosen up the top 1/4" to get some good soil to seed contact. And finally run a roller over it.
However it seems that the SunJoe's are hard to come by.
And I want to get something that I can use for regular maintenance after the Reno as well (dethatching).
The alternative I'm thinking of right now is to just rent a seed slicer and use that instead.
But I was wondering if anybody had any good recommendations, on equipment that's worth aquiring that can help with preparing the soil for seed and yet also be useful later on.
