Anything that actually takes a measurement would be way more accurate that a modeling algorithm especially one that doesn’t allow precise data to be entered.

 

I don't understand why they didn't code their controller to use soil moisture sensor data at all. I didn't realize I couldn't add the sensors to the controller by zone. I have to check the soil moisture percentage by going into the garage instead of seeing it on my phone. It's probably because Toro and Rachio didn't want to work together.
