Peat moss and soil PH

Hello everyone!
I am in the process of a complete lawn renovation. Once I spread my seed, I am looking to top dress it with peat moss. When I had my soil tested about a year and a half ago, my PH was sitting around a 5.7. Being that peat moss is acidic, do I have to be concerned about this making my soil even more acidic? I only plan on using no more that 1/4 inch of top dressing over the seed. In addition to seeding, I am also planning on throwing down limestone when I put down the new seed to try and bring my soil PH up.

Thanks !

I wouldn't be concerned with peat Moss lowering your PH.

However, for those of us in the Northeast I would recommend working on your PH every year with either Lime or something like Jonathan Green Magical to raise your PH and keep it at a better level.
