Hello, I was wondering the best way to go about mixing a Celsius single dose packet with a Sedgehammer+ single dose packet into the same tank. The Sedgehammer+ calls to mix the packet with 1 gallon of water, but the Celsuis calls for at least 2 gallons. TIA.

Anyone use over the recommended amount of Sedgehammer? Effectiveness from experience on another property at the recommended dose is pretty lackluster. I just sodded an acre and I'm loaded with sedge. Haven't treated yet but I'll be running with a celsius/sedehammer mix.

Contemplating both, a higher rate for sedgehammer, and or higher NIS.

Sedgehammer, Certainty and Celsius are slower acting than most off the shelf herbicides. If you want a quick kill on sedges look into Dismiss (Sulfentrazone), you'll see results in 24-48 hours.

Sedgehammer requires a NIS unless you have the small Sedgehammer+ packets. Check the label to see if the stuff you have includes a NIS. If not, adding one will make it way more effective but be careful spraying in this heat.

Be careful mixing Celsius WG with Sedgehammer or other herbicides when applying to St. Augustine. Per the Celsius label:

St. Augustinegrass may show increased sensitivity to tank mixtures of CELSIUS WG HERBICIDE and other products. Evaluate thesetank mixtures in a limited area before widespread applications.
Celsius WG + Sedgehammer caused my SA to stop growing for about a month whereas Celsius alone didn't affect the turf at all.
