Moving to zone 7a/7b.
The yard gets only 2 hours direct sunlight (3 hours during peak summer), so a good bit of shade/filtered light. One small section gets 3-4, but that’s not the priority area.
There’s no existing grass under the salad bar of weeds.
There’s a natural barrier of thick trees between neighboring yards.
Aiming for a dark green lawn.
I definitely want to “splurge” on the best seed possible. There’s an overwhelming amount of information on all different types, though.
