I hate kyllinga

I've had light green patches all summer. I had no idea what it was. I thought it was Triv. Now the seed heads have developed!

I killed it all with Dismiss but now it's back :crying:

I'm trying Sedgehammer now. Anyone else have this frustrating weed?

I was thinkinking of glyphosate and then seeding before it gets later in season. Or sodding but that's way more work

My mom has a 500sqft section of yard that is so thick with kyllinga it looks like it could be turf! 😂
Not sure how it got in there so thick. Saving grace is that it's an annual unlike the nutlet edges and are easily pulled out. That's what I do in the section where I get some tufts pop up.. grab em by the hair & yank them out!

You shouldn't yank nutsedge or it multiplies.

I sprayed with sedgehammer but I don't see anything happening .
