I wonder how long Honda will supply parts for their mowers, since they have exited the market. Some local dealers still have them, but not for long. Some Toro mowers come with a Honda engine, but most are B&S.

 

I have had mine several years now , been mowing 15k ft2 for at least 3 now, rifer crapped out and cant afford to buy another and a good deal on a used rider has yet to cross my path.
Keep it clean , fresh gas .
It will treat you well
I have TTTF and found 3/4” over HOC is the sweet spot for good mulch mowing
Makes for a bit more frequent mowing .
only quip I have is the mulch/bag selector rotted off in the chute.

 

I've been very happy with mine for the past couple of years. I'm a TORO fan but picked the Honda because it mowed down to .75". Sounds like I made the right choice.

 

I really like my HRX. Not using it as much these days since getting a reel mower. With so many of those HRX’s out there, I don’t think parts availability will be that big a worry. But you may have to resort to other sources, like eBay, or a donor machine.

 

What’s crazy is they still have mowers on their website. Made me wonder if they had exited the space or maybe re-entered it.

 

I'm pretty satisfied with my HYA that I got at HD back in March. Before buying I asked a dealer about parts after they pull out and was told "we will be able to get what ever you need to keep it going for a long time". They said they are selling the mowers everywhere else in the world and the parts aren't going anywhere any time soon.

 

Took the bagger off the scarifier when I was prepping for overseeding. Used the HRX to pick everything up. Just love the power definitely my favorite mower I’ve owned.
