That looks like Zeon and looks like fungus to me. What is your irrigation schedule and what time of day are you watering?

 

I was probably overwatering a bit as I grew in the new sod. Had scaled it back to before sunrise every third day. Haven’t watered in a week since the ppz application. neighbor who suggested this forum recommended one deep soaking per week before sunrise.
