I just got this beauty today.

Heard about M18 battery to Ryobi tool adapters on Amazon.
Grabbed two of my 12 AH batteries and voila, BEST DETHATCHER EVER!

I got 4-12ah batteries, dethatching for days...... :D:unsure:;)

Dang it dang it! It's not the holy grail because it overheats when you push it for about 600-800sf with the scarifier on lowest setting. I guess i don't know for sure it was overheating, but when i let it sit for 2 minutes it fired up again. I didn't even get through two bars of battery.

But let me tell you, it got up so much material you could dethatch then mow, then dethatch and mow back and forth while charging the other battery for my ego mower.

I think using the spring tines it probably won't stop the motor.

Having no cord is BONKERS. it's so nice to not have to screw with that.

possible good news, I've been starting this thing like an ego, where you push the button and then pull back on the handle. Sometimes its been glitchy, then I tried pulling the handle and pushing the button instead. It fired right up over and over. LOL i've been starting it incorrectly.

Tomorrow i'll re-test the Rywaukee. Hitting 86 tomorrow in Wisconsin.........they're calling for snow Monday night. :ROFLMAO:
