Grass Identification By Seed Heads

There is some really deep green grass growing in the middle of the wire fence between my garden and the canal area behind it.
Unfortunately my wife went at it with a string trimmer just this morning so I don't have such a great picture of it looking full.

I don't know if it is a weed grass from over there or a turf grass spread from my side.
I did have a darker strip along the a couple of years ago but I don't know what was in the bat.
It is hard to tell by location as the city steams a 2ft wide section on their side and a combination of too much rain and a running dog killed my side.

I'm thinking of making sure all those seeds fall on my side.

What do you think it might be?

The panicle looks like a typical tall fescue seed head. The pictures of the collar region are not clear to me. Are auricles present and the ligule very short? That would fit for tall fescue. But the leaves seem to be too narrow for this. Tall fescue often has short hairs on the leaf margin in the collar region and the leaf margin is rough:

If no hairs are found there, meadow fescue (Festuca pratensis) would be a possibility. Its panicle, auricles and ligules are very similar to those of TF.

If the auricles are missing, fine fescue (red fescue, Festuca rubra) could also be considered. Here, too, the seed head is very similar to that of TF, but the leaves are much narrower and sometimes the lowest leaf sheaths are said to be hairy. Sometimes there are also reported to be short hairs on the upper side of the leaves. But I don't have any usable pictures of the last two grasses.
