@NorthWestAmateur has the correct rates as on my 41% Gly label.

 

I plan to do a blanket app of Gly on my backyard. Its roughly 5150sqft and I'm wondering if I need to follow the label per bottle (2.5oz per 300sqft) or can I do 2.5oz/1ksq/1gal? Can I modify the dosage to make up for such a low rate?

Also, what products could I use to prevent traffic from dogs or people on my front yard? Would the little flags suffice or is there a better way?

Last fall when I overseeded I used some garden stakes and orange flagging tape. (like caution tape but doesn't say anything)

I also bought some "please keep off the grass" signs from Amazon and put them on stakes and placed them evenly spaced along the area where I thought people might be likely to walk off the sidewalk.

How fancy you get depends on how big the area is, how obnoxious the "trespassers" are and how much you want to spend.

When I see people cut across my yard along the street (instead of walking on the very wide street side of the ditch) it makes me want to get some kind of "danger - hazardous materials!" signs. "keep off grass - may cause cancer" 😂

I normally mix 2.5 / gal. But i have not broadcast sprayed larger areas since 2017. then i do not remember how i mixed.

Who has experience and how did you mix/spray for effective kill?

If you’re spraying out turf you can go as low as 1oz/1000, with a 2nd app 7+ days later.

 

Do you know how often I need to water between applications? Currently I'm watering roughly 0.5" of water per zone twice weekly.

Would 1gal of Glyphosate cover enough applications for the 8ksqft? I may purchase more if necessary.
