What can I do to kill off the crabgrass and other weeds growing in my garden without killing my plants?

You can use a herbicide.Spot spray with the small nozzle(dont use the fan tip).A herbicide would be alot better than roundup IMO..Next season use your pre emergent in your bed like you do your lawn and that should help alot.
