Does ethos 4sc used to treat poa annua needs to be watered in as pre emergent?? I'm planning to spray it along with tenacity as pre emergent at seed down.

What rate does people use if they are spraying both tenacity and ethos??

Never used it, as it's restricted use here, but I know others have...

I would say yes, but depending on soil and night time temps. In my area it's a little later. Saying that….I have never timed it right either. Etho defiantly puts a dent in poa at best. I think a few years of applications probably is the best approach. A third spring application in my experience does nothing. As I posted in another thread…..for this year I am a fall prodiamine guy + etho 👍.

Side note from my experience only……tenacity is about worthless on its own. It's great added in as a tank mix for weed control. As a pre -e am I am not sold. Many years I played the tenacity at seed x2, then pre -e only to have my feelings hurt in the spring. Maybe my timing is bad ????

I think tenacity is only a short window pre emergent for seed to germinate and less competition, it's not meant to last into spring. that's why 2nd app needed 30 days after 1st app
