Not so, my friend. What electrics don't have is the power to cut a full swath of knee-high grass that should have been mowed a month ago. For properly maintaining a lawn by mowing when the grass has grown to 150% of its normal height, electrics are just fine. They just don't lug around all that extra horsepower that's hardly ever used. But if you do need to cut knee-high grass, an electric will cut a half swath or even less, if necessary, just fine.
