Kidding, makes sense to me. I'm sure there is a way to look at the source of Nitrogen and arrive at a more scientific conclusion but I'm not that smart.

 

That makes sense but it complicates things. How do you know when to reapply if you're trying to get 1lb nitrogen down per month?

I find it easier (and cheaper) to go with all fast release (urea, ammonium sulfate) so I have better control over what's available to lawn at any given time.

50% slow release is fine if you are looking for a turf maintenance product.

I would read the label and see what it means by slow release. Is it a poly coated urea, sulfur coated urea, UFLEXX, UMAXX...

If I had to guess I would say its probably sulfur coated urea, but you should know what you are putting down.

As long as you are irrigating your lawn and using a granular fert there are no precautions.

 

Bermuda can handle pretty much any fertilizer as long as you have sufficient water. If you have irrigation fertilize when you need to. I don't so I wait until a good rain is on the horizon.

 

That stuff will be fine as long as you're not lacking P, I have a bag of Lesco with the same formulation. It even contains 3% iron. About 4lbs/k of grass will get you 1lb/N, just irrigate like you normally do and you'll be pleased with the result
