A while back I never thought of mowing wet grass. The Swardman rep Michael came by my house and recommended that i mow grass when wet. Not soaking, just a little wet. Basically i turn sprinklers on for 60 seconds to get beads of water on the blades.
I've been doing it this way since then. I find keeping a straight line much easier as you can clearly see your last pass (even the first one). Stripes are more defined and I seem to have more clippings in the hopper than a dry cut.
