Hi @larry626
I see in another post you mentioned Tenacity. The Tenacity label "requires" a non-ionic surfactant. As far as negatives go, check out the following link: https://agrilife.org/texasrowcrops/...04/03/why-are-adjuvants-important-and-what-is-the-difference-between-adjuvants/

"Producers often ask, "can I use kitchen dishwashing detergent (dish soap) as a surfactant?" Dishwashing detergent contains both nonionic and anionic surfactants, and depending on the concentration, there can be antagonism between the two surfactants and the herbicide resulting in crop injury and/or a reduction in efficacy. Dishwashing detergents are not labeled for crop use, so the producer will not be protected if injury occurs. Dishwashing detergent also may leave a residue on the leaf surface."

I've been wrestling with this for years and this year I forced my annual Lawn budget (account tagged "Green for the Greens!" :) to allow me to - FINALLY! -

Order 2-1/2 gal.s of EACH:

~ 80/20 Non-Ionic Surfactant; and,

~ Methylated Seed Oil (MSO)

It's gonna be nice not running through all those little bottles of Dollar Store baby shampoo, any longer! :)

Edit: the only DRAWBACK is, have you ever tried to pour only 2oz out of a 2-1/2 gal jug?

It's like trying to drink a sip of beer out of a keg, on your own - with the tap removed!

You should pop a pump dispenser on the top of that bottle.
A hundred internets to you, ionic!

Heading to Amazon now to see what is obtainable!

Make that 1,000 internets! :D

Next day come-back and Edit: jeepers @ionicatoms , seriously, THANK YOU AGAIN. I'm embarrassed to admit the idea of looking for pumps that would / will fit 2-1/2 gal jugs never occurred to me but Lo and Behold, here they be! (tad pricey but, the convenience of being able to buy another 2-1/2 gal jug of blue marking dye and not having to mess with transferring it to smaller, 1-gal containers makes it worth it!)

Was Ordering 3 for 2.5gal containers to start with when I decided to shop for the best ones I can find for 1-gal containers as well!

Thanks so much - TLF FTW , Again!!!!!!!
