CarbGrass in Bermuda

Not certain if this is the correct forum topic to post this. Please move my post if it needs to be placed elsewhere.

I purchased a quart of XLR8 to control (hopefully eliminate or at least reduce) crabgrass that is, IMHO, has heavily "infected" my bermuda grass yard.

I live in East Texas and the current daytime temperatures are now in the mid 90's to 100's with typical HIGH East Texas humidity.

I'm just dying to apply this crabgrass "killer' but after reading the directions, which say NOT to do so when temperatures OVER 85* I'm really hesitant to do so.

Summer time temperatures are NOT going to be coming down till probably LATE summer. I can wait till then to apply this weed killer if need be but.......

Would like "suggestions" on what to do. I don't want to damage the bermuda grass but on then other hand I'd like to get this "problem" under control.

Thanks.

Which herbicide are you considering apply?
Quinclorac
I usually spray in the evening after temps have dropped a bit to minimize tip burn. You could also spray in the morning like mentioned above. As long as you follow the label you shouldn't get too much burning but I would skip using any surfactant.
