Can you mix 2-4d weed killer with Triclophyr?

I just bought a 2 gallon spreader so I can work on killing off some broadleaf weeds as well as clover throughtout the yard. Currently ive been spot spraying roundup for lawns, but I want to work on killing soke bigger patches. I found some 2-4d Weed B Gon as well as some Triclophyr. My initial plan was to try one and then the other to compare which works better for my issue. However, with a spreader, would I have the option of mixing both together and spraying?

I do have a surfactant to add to the mix and would use recommended mix rate

Triclophyr is not a particularly risky herbicide. Yes I mix it wit discamba, 2 4d and others.

Isn't there a product that mixes them? If they do it, so can you.

Im still a total rookie when it comes to weed killer. Up to this board, the only thing i did was buy a spray off the shelf and hope, or pay a company. Now that ive learned to read labels and see what works on what, Im working my way up to a more complete weed control

I believe that's Crossbow. However, it is not labeled for use on home lawns. Not sure why.

I've mixed Trimec Classic with triclopyr ester. It really hurt and even killed some of the fine fescue in my nomix. If your triclopyr is the ester form, do not spray it on hot days (85F and above). It can easily damage desirable turf.

Just because you messed up doesn't mean it's not safe to mix.

Can you mix 2-4d weed killer with Triclophyr?
