Afternoon all, (first post)
So after deciding to reel mow my cool season lawn this year, I have decided to get a powered reel mower. All research seems to lead to the cal trim classic. The dilemma is 5 vs 7 blade. I am currently cutting at about 1-1.25" on a cool season hodgepodge of grasses with a mascot 6 blade manual. With a one year old baby, wife and work (Physical job) it is a lot of extra efforts to push (especially if I want to double cut). I feel a powered reel will give a better cut anyways. I am leaning towards the 7 blade in case I want to cut lower in the future. If I ever wanted to cut higher I would just use my rotary.
What is your guys opinion on this? 5 vs 7 blades?I can mow 3 times a week if needed for a better cut with the 7 blade.
