Bonaire Industries Ultimate Hose Nozzle

I have been looking for a hose nozzle that was worth owning after being frustrated by the poor quality hose nozzles sold by big box and hardware stores. These lower-end products may look good in the store but they are actually very bad at what one buys these for.

So I often just use jet sweeper nozzles since they work 100%.

I bought some new hoses and other jet nozzles with shutoff valves at Northern Tool when they sent me a $20 off a $100 purchase coupon. I also selected the U.S. patented Bonaire Industries "Ultimate" hose nozzle to try them out. I bought two because, well, I needed two.

These were on sale for $18.99 in the extruded aluminum version.

I plan to try them out this evening and will update this topic once I do.

I hope I am not disappointed, again....

You shouldn't be. I've been using the Bonaire nozzles for probably 2-3 years now, and they are quite honestly THE best I've used. With a 3/4 hose, I can flat our drench my lawn, or flower beds. I can get great pressure to shoot it a distance to water where my hose won't reach easily, and I can tone it down to soak down, or "rain" on the flower beds, without beating the plants up.

The rubber has held up well against the concrete. We drop it, throw it.. pretty much abuse it.

I loved it so much I bought my father one, and he loves it as well, won't use anything else.

Thanks for your input, @FATC1TY and @BobLovesGrass!

I took it outside to hook it up to a 3/4" hose I use the most in my backyard, just before dinner so my bride would warn me about not starting a project before dinner (I love that girl).

I really like the nozzle. Very well made, and it functions like a fire hose nozzle, and is easy to adjust. I could see how it would water plants well (I watered my grass some), and it can be adjusted to a strong stream that will wash down the concrete areas, and make cleaning my grill easy.

The thick rubber will also come in handy when I inevitably drop it on the concrete, or just set it down. The quality of the machining is evident when you adjust the spray stream, the best I've ever used.

I would say it was worth the $19 I spent on it, and with my $20 off coupon, the 2nd one was free!

The nozzle can be taken apart to clean out dirt and debris (see the Allen hex head screw on the nozzle exit - you take it off and disassemble the unit to clean it), and you can add more silicone grease to it to ensure it remains very easy to rotate to adjust the stream. I think it's a winner....

I also bought some more jet sweeper nozzles and shutoff valves, for really blasting the concrete.

I am certain the Bonaire will work washing up equipment and vehicles, and I like the dual shutoff feature as well. I have two other Bonaire products - a spray wand that has a reservoir for liquids like car wash (which is why I bought it) and another spray wand that extends for rinsing off the tops of my truck and SUV, and for rinsing windows, and washing down the storm water gutters on my curbs.

The two spray wands convinced me to try the hose nozzles - overall, I think Bonaire Industries makes pretty good consumer products for residential use. And they are priced very reasonably, as well....

Two thumbs up, IMHO.
