I know this has been posted a ton, but the battery powered market has changed a huge amount. I have about 3/4 acre bermuda grass "moved in about 2 years ago". I got a toro recycler 60v 22 inch a year ago and it worked great. well I take good care of my lawn and it has got thick! Now my toro takes 3 recharges just to get through my small back yard. even if I mow it every day it struggles. i can't even get it to its lowest setting where I want my grass.

So question is are there any battery mowers that can even tackle this job now or is it time to switch back? if i am looking at a different mower what kind of mower "battery, reel, ect"should I get for this grass as I'm trying to make it closest to golf quality "yes strong words let's say dad golf quality". Open for all recommendations as I've been googling for days and opinions are all over the place.

How often are you sharpening the blade? It's amazing the difference a sharp blade makes. With Bermuda, the more often you mow, and the lower you go, the thicker it gets. (Virtually all grass does this actually.) So the only way to reduce the power demand would be a lower-lift blade or keeping it as sharp as possible. May want to see what the battery health is as well. After 2 years of multiple mows a week, on 3/4 of an acre, you may have more miles (Watt-hours) on that battery than you think. 3/4 acre is a lot on a 22" mower (by today's standards, lol), gas-powered or otherwise.
