’m located in Chico, CA north of Sacramento. I planted two home tee boxes and green last September. The tee boxes are roughly 1000 square feet. The green is 4000 square feet all with AU victory creeping Bentgrass.

I started to get brown spots that looked like a water issue. I made the mistake of watering at 11pm when the temperature started to hit the 100 degree mark. The brown patched continued to spread. After talking to out local golf courses I changed the water schedule to 6 am.
Early spring I also noticed signs of grubs and treated with DiseaseX.

This is a first year project. I’m way out over my ski’s on this one.
Im hoping I can get help with identifying the issue. I suspect Pythium, brown patch or grubs. Thought ?

My Bad, I put down GrubEx in early May after I saw signs of grubs, small holes in the turf.
The brown patches started late May to early June.
I suspect I created the perfect scenario for fungus when I was watering at night as the weather started heating up. I had also put down nitrogen in early May.
It looks as if the damage has stopped spreading at this point. Not sure how to move forward at this point. Is this going to be repaired or do I need to start over ?
Like I said earlier, I’m way above my pay grade on this project. The green looks great, just having issues with the tee boxes.

If you're trying to maintain bentgrass you're going to need a lot more fungicides than DiseaseEx. You'll need to apply them frequently and watch the grass closely. Get your watering schedule and practices in line so that the grass stays wet for the least amount of time as possible while keeping the water up to it. There's a reason why golf courses remove the dew in the morning. Bentgrass is incredibly finicky.
I’m finding that to be true. I’ve added gravex 20 ex to the regime as well.
