Was just wondering if there is any info out there or your own experiences on the effects of air temp on germination and newer grass growth.
here in PA we have a some cooler weather recently. Some Septembers we still have high 80s this time of year.
When I overseeded on 9/6 the temps were more of 75/55 but the past week it's been about 65/40. I'll take this over the high 80s any day, but wondering if the new growth and germination (i put additional seed down), starts to slow down with these colder nights. It seems from my eye test that the new growth has slowed a bit, but not sure if there is some official temperature guidelines out there.
