So here recently, I've been getting a decent amount of yellow nutsedge in the yard.. The temperatures will be steady in the upper 80's to over 90 some days. I have a Bermuda lawn and am always hesitant to put down any herbicide in those temperatures... This will be my first time using certainty and I wanted to make sure that you all have had good experiences in this heat using that herbicide? Should I use NIS with it? I know the label states to be cautious of using marker dye, but I wanted to get some opinions.

Certainty is safe in hot weather. In normal years it gets into and stays at the upper 80s most months of the year in my state. Apply with no more than 0.25% Nonionic surfactant in the spray solution(2 teaspoon per gallon). Make sure you are not applying more than the equivalent of 1.25 oz per acre. If you are spot spraying, that 1.25 oz rate applies to the areas covered in your spot. I have not burnt or discolored a lawn using those guidelines.

Great, that's reassuring. I'm going to do a spot spray today or tomorrow with it. I've had a surge of nutsedge the past few weeks and it's something I definitely need to get under control. I'll spot spray with the 1.25 equivalent to see what happens. Thanks again,

The spot spray rate is the 0.8 g. side of the little measuring spoon in 2 gallons of water lightly sprayed on the Nutsedge. Bermuda is extremely tolerant of Certainty. You should be fine.
Have you had any experience with using dye with certainty?
